Dyeloop™ Showcases Latest Circular Innovations at Techtextil Frankfurt in Partnership with ATB

FRANKFURT, GERMANY – From 21 to 24 April 2026, the Dyeloop™ project reached a significant milestone by participating in Techtextil, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens. Represented by team members Joana Dias and Alexandre Jorge, Dyeloop™ took center stage at the ATB - Acabamentos Têxteis de Barcelos booth to present the latest breakthroughs in sustainable dyeing technology.
A Strategic Alliance: Testing the Dyeloop™ Prototype
The highlight of this year’s participation is the strengthening of the partnership with ATB, a renowned specialist in textile finishing with over 40 years of industrial expertise. In a decisive move toward market readiness, ATB will be the official partner to test the Dyeloop™ prototype in a real-world industrial environment.
This collaboration is vital for the project's evolution. By integrating Dyeloop’s circular technology into ATB's sophisticated production lines, the team will be able to validate the recovery and reuse of dyes at scale. This "living lab" approach ensures that the technology is not only environmentally revolutionary but also industrially viable and optimized for global textile demands.
Global Visibility at Techtextil
Techtextil serves as the perfect platform for Dyeloop™ to demonstrate its progress. Being present at the heart of the technical textile sector allows the project to:
-
Showcase tangible results: Presenting samples of recovered dyes and treated textiles to an international audience of industry leaders.
-
Network with innovators: Engaging with global players who are actively seeking circular economy solutions to meet increasingly strict environmental regulations.
-
Validate Market Fit: The feedback received during the event confirms a high demand for closed-loop dyeing processes that reduce water consumption and chemical footprints.
